Welcome to the Skykomish Valley

Would you like to experience miles of majestic scenery, wildlife and river that is THE Skykomish?  Our guides take time to educate, explore and dine on the shores of the sky.  They pride themselves in smaller, individualized trips from one half day to 3 day excursions.  Depending on water levels and comfort levels, they design a trip that is perfect for your group.  Inner tubes available and life jackets required.

Want to learn?  We have guides for that!  Need some gear?  We have that for you too!  Fly fishing or lure fishing!  We can also provide out-of-state licences and will definitely educate you about the strict rules for trout, Steelhead, Chinook (King) and silver salmon to name a few.  River fishing is generally June to November with exceptions in some lakes.

Get to 4000 feet above sea level at all times of the year and experience the excitement of ATV travel.  From beginner to expert, these tours are designed and planned for groups of the same skill level and private tours and lessons are booked at no additional charge for kiddos.

Want to go camping?  Don't have the gear?  We do!  You can buy or rent any necessity you may need.  Our concierge service will even set up camp for youat the choicest spots!!

Most of Skykomish Outfitters associates have been hiking the valley for years.  They can teach you about flora, fauna, wildlife, mushrooms, forestry and responsible use.  You can also just give us a shout and we can give you advice on where and when to go!

In 2022 we are excited to offer WFR (Wilderness First Responder) and WFA (Wilderness First Aid) classes!  Right here in the Cascade Mountains!  It's the perfect hands on experience for any outdoor enthusiast.  Contact us for prospective dates and times.
